Congestive heart failure is a condition characterized by typical symptoms such as shortness of breath at rest or activity, fatigue and leg edema, tachycardia, tachypnea, pulmonary rales, pleural effusion, and increased jugular venous pressure. Lower quality of life in heart failure patients is associated with the presence of frailty syndrome. Frailty syndrome has a significant negative impact on prognosis and quality of life. The study aimed to determine the relationship between frailty syndrome and quality of life in heart failure patients in Jakarta. This research method was cross-sectional with descriptive correlation. The technique of selecting samples used purposive sampling with a total sample size of 87 patients, and the statistical test used Spearman's rank. The results obtained showed that frailty syndrome showed that the largest number of the pre-frail category was 60 people (69.0%). The quality of life was the largest number in the reverse category, 38 people (43.7%). Spearman's rank test showed a p-value of 0.000 (p ≤ 0.05) and r = 0.569; there was a significant relationship between the frailty category and quality of life of patients. So, frailty syndrome has a significant negative impact on the quality of life of Congestive Heart Failure patients. It is hoped that consideration will be given to help patients in managing their condition.
